According to the General Statistics Office, 2024 will show a strong recovery of Vietnam’s tourism industry, especially the number of international visitors will increase significantly.
Regarding means of transportation, international visitors to Vietnam mainly come by air with more than 14.8 million people, accounting for 84.4% of the total number of international visitors and an increase of 35.6% compared to the previous year.
The statistical agency also believes that these numbers are proof of the sustainable development of Vietnam’s tourism industry in 2024, creating solid momentum for the goal of welcoming more international tourists in the coming years.
